Passions
Sit for your portrait, be painted as an old master, and have your expression read on an engraved wheel.
What we do
We run it as a portrait booth with a long dwell time, for briefs where engagement matters more than throughput.
What it is
The Cabinet of Passions. Sit for your portrait and a webcam paints you as an old master, with a real oil filter, bitumen shadows and craquelure, inside a gilt baroque frame, while your face is measured against Charles Le Brun's catalogue of the passions and the reading is laid out on an engraved wheel. Two of the eight petals are engraved and never light, because no muscle in the face reports them, and the cabinet says so instead of faking it.
Where it goes
A portrait booth with a long dwell time. Visitors sit rather than pass, which makes it the right piece when the brief is engagement rather than throughput.
