What we do
Custom firmware on a seven-inch e-paper device, battery powered, repainting only on change. The server renders and the device only blits, which is why Thai comes out right.
What it is
A seven-inch e-paper panel on the desk showing a three-day calendar, today's tasks, the room's own temperature and humidity, and a countdown. Battery powered, paged with the side buttons, and it holds its image with the power off, so it repaints only when something changed.
Where it goes
The bench object at its most useful: an always-on surface for the handful of things a person needs at a glance, with no screen to unlock and nothing to log into.
