We use it where a product has to be shown in weather that cannot be arranged indoors.
What it is
A weather chamber for one person. Hold up a hand and count, one for rain, two for snow, five for the storm, and it falls on you, settles in your hair and beads on the lens, which you wipe with a fingertip. The weather is simulated in metres and seconds before it is photographed: drop sizes come from the spectrum that rain rate actually produces, and they fall at true terminal velocity.
