What we do
Studios have clients, clients have projects, projects have tasks. The vocabulary is the craft's own, so nothing is translated on the way in.
The problem
Commission work flows from named clients, not from a product backlog, and every general-purpose project tool models the opposite. Two small studios needed the same thing and neither wanted to run on the other's brand.
The fix
Studios have clients, clients have projects, projects have tasks. The vocabulary is the craft's own, so nothing has to be translated on the way in.
How it was built
Built once, run by both studios, owned by neither. Named for the room a master craftsman works in rather than for the work, because that is literally what a shared project tool is.
